SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a two side pressure sensitive adhesive film with a non-woven carrier protected with a release liner on one side. 2. APPLICATION Initial application is

REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 THICKNESS, WITHOUT RE

5、sensitive) side of the adhesive film to a clean metal panel and measure the force required to peel the liner from the adhesive using the procedure in ASTM D 903. 3.7 STORAGE STABILITY The unwind pull and ease of paper backing removal measured by hand peel examination shall not change appreciably aft
6、er 12 months storage at temperatures below 32 C. All adhesive must remain on high release side. 7、gm. unbacked needlepunch carpet, specimen size to be 25 x 254 mm. Remove the paper liner and bond the carpet to the substrate using an automatic rolldown machine with a speed of 30 mm/min and a 2.0 kg roller, one forward and one back stroke within 5 seconds after contact. Measure 180 peel adhesion i
8、n a tensile machine with a crosshead speed of 300 mm/min between 2 and 4 hours after completion of the exposure. 3.9 180 PEEL ADHESION, N/m, min (ASTM D 903 the material shall be tested in composite form as described in paragraph 2) Prior to cycling, condition composites 24 hrs at 23 +/- 2 C. 10、00 N/m of 4 hrs at 88 +/- 1 C, 4 hrs at -29 +/- 1 C and 16 hrs at 38 +/- 1 C and 95 - 100% relative humidity 3.10 COLD IMPACT The assembly shall show no evidence of debonding from the substrate Test Method: Age the assembly or a section of the mounted assembly 24 h at 82 +/- 2 C, then condition for
11、5 h at -30 C. Remove from the cold box and immediately (within 10 seconds), drop the rubber ball from a height of 610 mm on the assembly. The rubber ball shall weigh 4.8 kg, be 127 mm in diameter and 60 +/- 5 durometer. 3.11 HUMIDITY RESISTANCE No delamination between material layers, no visible los
12、s of adhesion, no curling of edges. Test Method: Place the assembly in the humidity cabinet for 48 h at 38 +/- 1 C and 95 - 100% relative humidity. 13、t Test Method: Prepare a 6.5 cm2 overlap shear test specimen (see Figure 1) consisting of (a) pressure sensitive adhesive bonded to 10 oz. unbacked needlepunch carpet, and (b) textured polypropylene. Remove the paper liner and bond the carpet to the polypropylene using an automatic rolldown machine
14、with a speed of 30 mm/min and a 2.0 kg roller, one forward and one back stroke within 5 seconds of contact. Attach a 250 g weight to the end of the carpet and hang it vertically in an air circulating oven at 88 +/- 2 C for 30 minutes. Remove the weights and let the panel cool to 23 +/- 2 C.
