SCOPE ESB-M99C109-A: The material defined by this specification i
3、s a colorless, odorless, highly refined, isoparaffinic stream, with low solvency. ESB-M99C109-A2: The material defined by this specification is a water carrier polymer dispersion, and is noneffective to rubber assemblies. The lubricant leaves a non-tacky semisolid film, which can be removed with a w
4、ater rinse. The material can be used as is, or diluted up to 15 parts water. It is very mild in nature and is a biodegradable liquid. Note: This material shall be formulated so that it will not stain or soften painted exterior or interior automotive finishes when evaluated according to FLTM BJ 126-0

APPLICATION ESB-M99C109-A: This specification was released originally for material used as an assembly aid, by lubricating glass run channel, for the installation of preformed rubber window frames. The lubricant has no unfavorable effects on EPDM rubber and flocked portions of the extrusion. E

11、 to provide a surface receptive to paint repair with no evidence of “fish eyes“, crawling, or other visible paint defects. Test Method: Apply a thin film of lubricant to panels freshly painted with current production enamels per FLTM BJ 107-03. Allow 1 h air dry at 23 +/- 2 C and 50 - 55% relative h
12、umidity. Wipe the lubricant with a soft cloth moistened with M14J547 naphtha. Repaint with enamel and examine for paint defects. GENERAL INFORMATION The information below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 FLAMMABILITY AND/OR TOXICITY This material represents a potential fire and/or health hazard. The manufacturing Engineering Department must notify both the Plant Security and the Safety personnel of its presence in the plant to assure that proper fire and/or health precautions are provided. The location in which it is used or stored must be included in the notification.
