3、ke acrylic solution and non-aqueous dispersion (NAD) enamels to low bake enamels for repairing passenger and commercial vehicles. 3. 5、tory. Test Method: Determine performance of catalyst in ESB-M32J100 Acrylic Enamel, ESB-M50J100 NAD Enamel or both as applicable. Prepare 2 panels of uncatalyzed enamel (ZWFAXXA White, preferred) per FLTM BI 103-02, Method C. Scuff sand one-half of each panel, lengthwise. Two samples of the unreduce
6、d enamel are catalyzed per para 3.5, one with the catalyst under test and one with a previously approved batch of catalyst for control. Reduce each sample to spraying viscosity and apply 31 38 micrometers over one-half of a panel, crosswise, so that the catalyzed enamel is applied over the scuffed a
7、nd unscuffed portions of the high bake enamel (bake 20 minutes at 83 C). Test for appearance and gloss versus the uncatalyzed portion of the panel, hardness (approximately 20 Sward) and intercoat adhesion.
