APPLICATION This specification was released originally for label material applied to the sun visor to provide four-w
、heel drive and transmission shift information. The film is applied to the vinyl sun visor surface by removing the paper backing and pressing firmly into place. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRO
、DUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.3 THICKNESS - WITHOUT RELEASE PAPER 0.090 - 0.125 mm (ASTM D 1000) or as specified on engineering drawing 3.4 APPEARANCE Shall be free from streaks,
、 blisters, wrinkles, ragged edges and any other surface imperfections which will make them unsuitable for the intended usage. The design and color shall be as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.5 TENSILE STRENGTH, min 1 kN/m (ASTM D 1000) 3.6 PREPARATION OF LABELS ON TEST PANELS Except where ot
、herwise noted, tests shall be conducted on vinyl coated fabric test panels. With firm hand pressure, apply a 25 x 75 mm strip of label to a test panel of suitable size. The applied label must be free of all wrinkles and trapped air bubbles. The label film shall be applied at 23 +/- 3 C and condition
