APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a battery ground on automo
3、tive passenger vehicles. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 INSULATION COLOR Black, unless otherwise specified on engineering drawin
4、g 3.2 CABLE QUALITY The cable shall meet all of the requirements listed herein and must be equal to the original approved sample. 3.3 WIRE QUALITY Shall consist of bare ESF-M2L1-A, soft or annealed round copper wire, prior to bunching or stranding. 3.4 CABLE CONSTRUCTION Shall consist of a minimum o
5、f 48 strands (any manufacturing tolerance must be additive) of #23 gage bare round copper wire, having a minimum area of 11.85 mm2. The strands shall be bunched and laterally served with 25 x 0.08 mm paper or polyester film insulated tape. 3.5 INSULATION QUALITY The finished cable diameter shall be
6、6.99 to 7.29 mm when covered with black elastomer meeting SAE type SGR requirements. 3.6 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The finished cable shall have a maximum resistance of 1453 microohms/m and the assemblies shall conform to the following. 3.6.1 Pull Test, min 1330 N The purchased cable assemblies with terminals shall withstand a pull test, terminal to terminal.
