SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a soft or annealed round copper wire insulated with a heavy film of solderable baked synthetic polyurethane and nylon varnish. 2. APP
、LICATION This specification was released originally for material used for windings on heater motor armatures. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P
、1111-A). 3.4 WIRE SIZE SPECIFICATION The wire size shall be specified on the engineering drawing and/or release according to the American Wire Gage number desired. Example: NEMA MW1000 Part 2, Table H-MW28-C. 3.5 COLOR The color of heavy polyurethane and nylon insulation shall be specified on the en
、gineering drawing. 3.6 BARE WIRE The copper wire used as a base for the polyurethane and nylon coated wire shall conform to ESF-M2L1-A, except as noted herein. 3.7 JOINTS Joints made in the polyurethane and nylon insulated wire shall conform to ESF-M2L1-A and shall be covered with a polyurethane and
、 nylon film so as to be equally as well covered as other portions of the wire. ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPECIFICATION ESF-M2L24-A Copyright 2014, Ford Global Technologies, Inc.
