SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a round drawn fully annealed low alloy seamless aluminum tube. 2. APPLICATION This material was released originally for material used in the condenser of an ai

REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION (ASTM E 34) Silicon 0.40 max Iron 0.70 maxCopper 0.10

4、max Manganese 0.05 - 0.40 Zinc 0.30 max Titanium 0.10 maxOther Elements (each) 0.05 max Other Elements (total) 0.15 maxAluminum Remainder 3.2 TENSILE STRENGTH 11,000 - 17,000 psi (ASTM B 557) (76-117 MPa) 3.3 ELONGATION, min 30% (ASTM B 557) 3.4 YIELD STRENGTH 4,000 - 9,000 psi (ASTM B 557, 0.2% off

5、set) (28 - 62 MPa) 3.5 PRESSURE TEST The tube when subjected to an internal pressure of 1500 psi (10.3 MPa) for 1 minute shall show no evidence of leakage. 3.6 EXPANSION TEST The tube shall withstand an expansion of not less than 40% of the outside diameter without tears, cracks or splits when expanded on a hardened ground tapered steel pin having an included angle of 60. 3.7 INTERNAL CLEANLINESS, max 0.002 g/ft2(ASTM B 210 para 14.2) (0.022 g/m2)
