SCOPEThe material d

2、efined by this specification is a solvent release, acrylatebased adhesion primer.2. APPLICATIONThis specification was released originally for material to prime PVCmouldings prior to bonding with the double sided pressure sensitive acrylictapes ESK-M3G136-A5/-A6.3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESS

3、Suppliers must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStandard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatistical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continu

4、ously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/orthermal analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms established for initial approval shallconstitute the reference standard a

5、nd shall be kept on file at thedesignated material laboratory. All samples shall produce IR spectraand thermograms that correspond to the reference standard when testedunder the same conditions.3.3 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONSAll test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned ina

6、 controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under thesame conditions unless otherwise specified.NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN2014 12 08 N Status No replacement named L. 9、ion, whether or not suchchanges affect the materials ability to meet the specificationrequir ements, the Supplier shall notify Purchasing, Toxicology andthe affected Materials Engineering activity of the proposed changesand obtain the written approval of the Materials Engineeringactivity. Test data,

10、 t est samples and a new code identification areto be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford apply tothe materials addressed by this document. The restrictions aredefined in Engineering Material Specification WS S-M99P9999-A1, unlessa different suffix (

11、e.g., A2 or A3) is specified on the engineeringdocument for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresp onsible Materials Engineering activity. Suppliers desiring approvalof thei r materials shall first obtain an expression of

12、interest from theaffec ted Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity its own laboratory rep ort to the specification (test results, notnominal values), the material designation and code number, and test

GENERAL INFORMATIONThe information given below is provided for assistance and clarificationand does not represent requirement(s) to this specification.5.1 DRYING TIME AT 23 +/- 2 C1 to 5 min after applic ation (in a wet film thickness of approx. 0,1mm) before assembling with adhesive tape.5.2 STORAGE STABILITY(from date of receipt at FMC)6 months when stored between 5 C and 28 C
