2、ID TYPE ESW-M4P5-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE This specification defines an electrolytic, sulphuric acid surface treatment for aluminum alloy parts, especially automatic transmission parts. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a surface hardening conversion coati
3、ng to increase wear resistance and avoid embedding of particles in bearing or sliding surfaces. Corrosion resistance is not the primary aim of this treatment although some resistance to corrosion is obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and p
4、art producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 The method used shall be an electrolytic treatment in a sulphuric acid solution, with the part forming the anode. Other details of procedure are not limited by this specification, any meth
