Test Conditions Testing conditions such as black panel temperature, dry bulb temperature, humidity, and light cyc
8、le times are equivalent to those outlined in SAE J2412 Accelerated Exposure of Automotive Interior Trim Components Using a Controlled Irradiance Xenon-Arc Apparatus, Table 1, Section 6.1.5 with the exception of the dark cycle time of 50 minutes instead of 60 minutes. One day exposure 75.2 kJ/m shoul
9、d include five 3.8 hours light, four 50 minutes dark cycles and end on the last light cycle (23 hours). SF-5 auxiliary filters should be evaluated around every 13,000 hours (50,000 kJ/m) to verify Spectral Power Distr
15、ibution (SPD) curve is within 95% of initial curve (Table 1). If outside of curve window or unable to measure then the filter should be replaced. Evaluation and Reporting As per SAE J2412 Accelerated Exposure of Automotive Interior Trim Components Using a Controlled Irradiance Xenon-Arc Apparatus, Evaluating and Reporting, Section 8. The exposu
17、re report shall include exposure level, evaluation per Specification, Machine Type and Model Number. The laboratory shall have full traceability of machine maintenance, calibration, and sample logs available if requested. Chemicals, materials, parts and equipment referenced in this document must be
18、used and handled properly. Each party is responsible for determining proper use and handling in its facilities.
