6、ing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Coat the bottom of the petri dish with grease to a depth of approximately 4 mm. 2. Evenly distribute the test pieces upon this first layer of grease and carefully apply another layer approximately 4 mm thick. 3. Constr
7、uct successive layers as needed. When evaluating a material for stress-strain, hardness, tear, and volume changes, three layers of elastomeric specimens with a final layer of grease will require the entire depth of the petri dish. Evaluate only one polymer per ageing assembly. 4. Place the assembly
8、into a preheated oven at the prescribed temperature and period of time indicated in the applicable Engineering Material Specification or Drawing. 5. Immediately evaluate for required properties as per the applicable Engineering Materials Specification. Evaluation Compute the chan
