6、s Standards must have Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Laboratory and Shop Trial approvals. Suppliers are required to complete and submit the Material Health and Safety Data Sheet, Form 1291, the Mandatory Reporting of Critical Materials, Form 68-100, prior to shop trial. Recommendatio
7、ns for the addition of new manufacturers to the Manufacturing Approved Source List (ASL) listing must be made in writing to the responsible Manufacturing Staff office by the appropriate Divisional Standards activity in accordance with Manufacturing Procedure IId1. 5. ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL: Use of an
8、y material approved to this Standard must comply with the guidelines as established in the environmental review of the material, as they appear in the Materials and Toxicology (MATS) System. 6. HEALTH AND SAFETY: The following are recommended practices to be observed when working with petroleum prod
9、ucts: a. When contact with oil is unavoidable, impervious gloves should be worn as well as clean work clothes. b. When skin exposure cannot be avoided, removal of oil from the skin should be as prompt as possible. A mild soap or skin cleanser and water should be used to remove oil. Industrial solvents should not be used to clean the skin. c. All skin rashes,lesions, cuts and abrasions should receive prompt medical attention.
