RATERIAL: Neoprene coating shall meet the minimum requirements of SAE J200l!2BC617A14E034. Shell shall be of cant
3、on flannel with a minimum warp and f i 11 thread count of 44 x 36 per square inch (645 square mm) . Cuffing material shall be nonwicking to oils, fuels, water and etc. 40/3 thread is required. 5、e inch (25mm). Base of cuff shall be finished with a nontear bead. Gloves shall be fully coated forming a permanent bond without penetration to the inside of sheil. Gauge of neoprene coating shall be .030 to .038 (0.76 to 0.97mm). Gloves to be water proof and shall be free from blisters, pockmarks,
6、lumps, strip marks and weak spots between f i ngers. SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITY: All material supplied to this standard must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted, and shall be satisfactory for the intended appl ication. APPROVAL OF NEW SUPPLIE
7、RS: i 7.2 Pricing of gloves from proposed new suppliers should be determined to be.cost competitive by Purchasing and Supply Staff prior to obtaining laboratory and shop trial approvals. After the product has been determined to be cost competitive, gloves submitted by new manufacturers to this stand
8、ard and concluded to be cost competitive must have laboratory and shop trial approvals. Recommendations for the addition of new manufacturers to the Manufacturing Approved Source List (ASL) must be made by the appropriate division standards activity in writing to the Plant Engineering Office, Hanufacturing Staff. All supporting data must accompany the written request. The Plant Engineering Office, Hanufacturing Staff, and the Environmental Health and Safety Hanager, Employee Relations Staff, will review requests to determine approval.
