SCOPEThe material defined by this specification is a very high heat resistantacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene molding compound.2. APPLICATIONThe material was originally released for manufacturing of instrumentcluste

REQUIREMENTSNote: The material shall be conditioned for a minimum of 24 h at 23 +/- 2C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity prior to test and tested under the sameconditions unless otherwise specified. The minimum and maximum values ofthis specification are based on natural colored and pigmen
4、ted material.3.1 REQUIREMENTS FOR TEST SPECIMENSAll tests shall be carried out on injection molded specimens with theexception of clause 3.1.6. The test specimens may be eithercompression molded, injection molded or extruded.Preparation of Injection Molded Test Specimens:Preparation of specimens acc
5、ording to ISO 294. The optimum moldingconditions shall be as recommended by the supplier of the moldingcompound. 17、 specification.3.2 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS3.2.1 Accelerated Weather Resistance Rating 4, 200 SFH(FLTM BN 1-1, Fadometer)This requirement applies only for self-colored material indesign approved interior colors and is omitted for naturalcolored material.After exposure the material shall show no fading o
18、r colorchange in excess of specified AATCC rating (AATCC Gray Scalefor Evaluating Change in Color, 10 step). In addition, thereshall be no cracking, crazing or other deterioration. A slightloss of gloss or deposit will be allowed provided an acceptableappearance can be achieved by washing with water

22、SS-M99P9999-A1.3.5 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYAll materials supplied to this specification must be equivalent in allcharacteristics to the material upon which approval was originallygranted.Prior to making any change in the properties, composition,construction, color, processing or labeling of the mate
23、rialoriginally approved under this specification, whether or not suchchanges affect the materials ability to meet the specificationrequirements, the Supplier shall notify Purchasing, Toxicology andthe affected Materials Engineering activity of the proposed changesand obtain the written approval of t
24、he Materials Engineering activity.Test data, test samples and a new code identification are to besubmitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford, apply tothe materials addressed by this document. 25、 WSS-M99P9999-A1.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMaterials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresponsible Materials Engineering activity. Suppliers desiring approvalof their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffected Purchasing, Design and Materials Eng

Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by aqualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstratingfull compliance with all the requirements of this specifica
27、tion (testresults, not nominal values), the material designation and code number, andtest specimens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering approval of amaterial will be based on its performance to this specification and on anassessment of suitability for intended processes and/or applications. Upona
