2、DDITIVE SK-M99J9569-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an additive for cathodic electrocoat, supplied as a pigment paste. 2. APPLICATION The material is used to adjust cathodic electrocoat primer under production conditions. The material shall have
3、 no adverse effect on the quality of the electrocoat primer in a production dipping tank. The material has only to be used on suppliers request and in an amount to be specified by the supplier in each case. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification
4、of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 COMPOSITION 3.1.1 Vehicle Waterborne synthetic basic resins compatible with those contained in the
5、acidic electrocoat dipping tank. 3.1.2 Toxicity The material shall not contain toxic components in excess of that permitted by the safety regulations currently prevailing in the country or plant where the material shall be used. Do not use cadmium compounds. 3.2 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 3.2.1 Non-Volatil
