2、 1. SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are flat needled, nonwoven carpets of good quality and uniform composition used for non molded applications. The carpet face is made with 90% minimum post industrial fiber and post consumer fibers. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released
3、 originally for glue on spare tire cover in enclosed trunk applications 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 In addition to the requ
4、irements listed herein, the end-item floor carpet shall be tested to WSS-M15P32-D/latest and any additional SDS requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific construction shall be documented in the supplement attached and uploaded in the scanned data package. 3.1.2 Vehicle Interior En
5、vironment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/ latest. Test data must be provided by the Tier 1 at the appropriate program milestone. 3.1.3 Recycled Content The face material must contain
6、90% recycled content as defined by WRS- M99P42-A2 (Textile Materials, Identification of Recycled Content). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as reheating or molding. 3.3 APPEARANCE (FLTM B
7、I 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing.
