SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a NLGI 1/2 grease consisting of a polyalkylene glycol base and a special lithium soap to give the desired characteristics of control lubricating. 2. APPLICA

3、TION This specification was released originally for grease used in the lubrication of disc brake calipers and anchor plate slides. This material can also be used to aid assembly of hoses in clutch and brake systems. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material supplier

4、s and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 COLOR Beige (Visual) 3.3 WORKED PENETRATION, tenths of a millimeter 285315 (ASTM D 217, ISO 2137, 60 strokes, 25 oC) 3.4 DROPPING POINT 250 C min (ASTM D 566, ASTM D2265, ISO 2176)

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this s

Grease must be tested for resistance to stress cracking when used for additional applications that come in contact with polymers such as PC, ABS, PC+ABS, ASA or acrylic. 4.9.3 Elastomer Compatibility (ASTM D 4289, 70h, 100 C, DIN 53505, DIN
