REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStand ar
4、d Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatist ical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONSAll test values indic
5、ated herein are based on ma terial conditioned ina control led atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under thesame conditions unless otherwise specified.3.3 COMPOSITION3.3.1 VehicleA p olysiloxane resin solution that can be reacte

18、ne part by volume ammonia based cleaner.B) A mixture consisting of the following:1) One part by volume of isopropyl alcohol, A.C.S.(Ame rican Chemical Society) Regent Grade, orisopropyl alcohol per TT-I 735, Grade A or B and2) Three parts by volume of minera l spirits (M14J167) orthree by volume of

26、commended distance of 9.5 mm (for theKeithley Model 2501) from the rubbed surface of the samp le andread the potential of the surface. This reading should b e wellab ove 800 volts and will indicate that the equipment isfunctioning properly. Duplicate the above test using a sampletreated with the ant
27、i-static material defined by thisspecification. 29、on, color, processing or labeling of the mater ial originallyapproved under this specificati on, whether or not such changes affectthe materials ability to meet the specification requirements, theSupplier shall notify Purchasing, Toxicology and the affectedMaterials Engineering activity of the propo
30、sed changes and obtain thewritten approval of the Materials Engineering activity. 32、ring approval oftheir mat erials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffecte d Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringact ivity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by aq
33、ualified and authorized repres entative of the test facility, demonstratingfu ll compliance with all the requirements of this specification (testresults, not nominal values), t he material designation and code number, andtest spec imens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering approval of amateria l will be based on its performance to this specification and on anassess ment of suitability for intended processes and/or applications. Uponapproval, the material will be added to the Engineering Material ApprovedSource List.
