2、PE These material specifications define the minimum acceptable performance requirements and physical/chemical properties of engine oils to be used by Ford Motor Company in its worldwide engine/vehicle manufacturing operations. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for an assembly
3、 fluid for pre-lubrication of components in spark ignition and compression ignition engines prior to assembly. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99
4、P1111-A). 3.1 PERFORMANCE Shall meet or exceed requirements of API Service Categories CF or SJ. 3.2 VISCOSITY Shall meet all the requirements of SAE 50 viscosity grade as defined in SAE Standard J300 (latest revision), “Engine Oil Viscosity Classification“. 3.3 QUALIFICATION PROCEDURE It is the supp
5、liers responsibility to have the technical evidence and documentation certifying that a given formulation meets all requirements described in this specification. Upon request, supplier must furnish to Fuels and Lubricants Engineering data required to show compliance with this specification. Upon eng
6、ineering approval, supplier and Fuels and Lubricants Engineering shall establish mutually agreed upon quality control limits to be listed in Supplement. 4.
