SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are a series of single component, self-curing, anaerobic compounds which rem
4、ain liquid as long as they are exposed to air and solidified by polymerization (not solvent evaporization) without significant shrinkage when confined between closely fitted metal parts in the absence of air. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were originally released for applications requiring sin
5、gle component industrial quality adhesives formulated for assembling and adhering metals. Certain metals may accelerate the polymerization process. WSK-M2G348 - Gasketing A1 Flowable anaerobic material; slightly flexible when cured; 130 C continuous use temperature; best suited for rigid heavily bol
6、ted ferrous metal flanges 6 mm diameter; for gaps 0.25 mm. A10 A flowable thixotropic anaerobic adhesive; high strength when cured for permanent locking of studs or fasteners; lubricates fastener assembly; gaps 0.25 mm; 150 C continuous use temperature. 3. 16、on control as specified by Engineering Test Method: Place 1 to 3 drops of material on the unground side of a steel lapshear. Dim overhead lights in the test area, as required. Expose the sample to long wave black light (wavelength = 365 Nm, intensity = 400 to 800 microWatt/cm2). The black light shal
17、l be positioned approximately 100 mm above the sample. Visually observe the sample to determine fluorescence. Expose the sample to UVA light (intensity approximately 100 mW/cm2) for 10 s. 4.3 USE OF ACTIVATOR For special reasons (faster and/or complete curing, inactive surfa
19、ces - Zn, Cr, Ni, Cd, plastics, ceramic) activators may be required (see also para 2, 3.6.1). For details of use (kind of application, open time, reactivity etc.) see activator specification. Generally the strength after final curing on standard surfaces is lower when an activator is used (see para
