SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a closed cell polypropylene foam with a nominal density of 55 kg/m, produced by molding of expanded polypropylene beads. 2. APPLICA

REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 APPEARANC

7、dor, max Rating 2 3.5.6 Dimensional Stability, max -4% Test Method: A specimen approx. 300 x 300 mm in size shall be placed in a mechanical convection oven maintained at 100 +/- 2 C for 3 h. Dimensional changes shall be measured after cooling down to room temperature. 3.5.7 Resistance to Cold Impact
8、 The material shall show no breaks, cracks or other failures. Test Method: The specimen shall be aged for 24 h at 80 +/- 1 C and than stored for 16 h at - 30 +/- 1 C. Remove specimen from cold box, place in horizontal position and within 5 s after removal drop a steel ball of 225 +/- 5 g and approx.
9、 38 mm in diameter onto the test specimen from a height of 300 mm. Evaluate after conditioning to room temperature. 3.5.8 Fogging (FLTM BO 116-03) Fog Number, min 80 Formation of excessive amounts of clear film or droplets is cause for rejection.
