REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStanda rd Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedth erein is requ

Appropriatestatist ical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/ortherma l ana
5、lysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms established for i nitial approval shallconst itute the reference standard and shall be kept on file at thedesignated material lab oratory. All samples shall produce IR spectraand thermograms that correspond to the
6、reference standard when testedunder the same conditions.3.3 CONDITIONINGAll test values indicated herein are based on ma terial conditioned ina control led atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under thesame conditions unless othe

After wipe off with cleani ng petrol thepanels are primed and painted as shown in 3.6.1.3.6.3 AgeingTest panels prepared under this specification shall be agedfor at least 72 h at 23 +/- 2 C or 16 h at 45 +/- 1 C beforetesting for resistance properties.3.7

23、ble for application in accordance withappropriate Ford Motor Company Process Specification U-C800.The primer must be compatible with all related materials e.g.:sealers, adhesives, electrocoat primers and paint materials.3.13 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYAll materials supplied to this specification must b
24、e equivalent inal l characteristics to the material upon which approval wasoriginally granted.Pr ior to making any changes in the properties, composition,co nstruction, color, processing or labelling of the materialorig inally approved under this specification, whether or not suchchange s affect the
25、 materials ability to meet the specificationrequir ements, the Supplier shall notify Purchasing, Toxicology andthe affected Materials Engineering activity of the proposed changesand obtain the written approval of the Materials Engineeringactivity. Test data, t est samples and a new code identificati
26、on areto be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford apply tothe materials addressed by this document. The restrictions aredefined in Engineering Material Specification WS S-M99P9999-A1, unlessa different suffix (e.g., A2 or A3) is specified on the engine
27、eringdocument for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresponsible Materials Engineeri ng activity. Suppliers desiring approval ofthe ir materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffec ted Purchasing, Des
28、ign and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by aqualified and authorized representative of the test faci lity, demonstratingful l compliance with all the require
29、ments of this specification (testresults, not nominal values), the material designation a nd code number, andtest specimens for Ford evaluation. In addition to meeti ng the requirementsof thi s specification, the materials will be assessed for suitability forintended applications as part o f the app
