SCOPE The material defined by these specifications is tanned top grain or split leather made from steer hides. The finish coating shall be a series of pigmented or clear resins to ensure compliance to all require

REQUIREMENTS For all test methods, no individual measurement shall fall below the minimum values specified her
4、ein. In the event of an issue with a test result, testing on the finished part shall prevail. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements for Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION Sa
5、mples should be prepared for testing according to ASTM D 1610. 3.3 APPEARANCE The color, grain, visual aesthetics, hand and finish shall be approved by Ford Design/Mastering. Hides shall not exhibit defects or surface blemishes affecting the appearance approval of the material. 3.4 FINISHING Dyed le
