2、E USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The materials defined by this specification are bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. It is then coated with a polyethylene back coating. 2. APPLICATION This material was released originally for carpets us
3、ed for full floor applications as part of the Carpet Construction Strategy. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item carpet assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated) shall meet all requirements of the WSS-M8P16-A performance specification for full floor application
4、s and the Sound and Heat SDS. This carpet meets the Resistance to Abrasion requirements of 2,000 cycles per WSS-M8P16-A para. 3.13, therefore, throw-in mats must be standard equipment or a heel pad must completely cover the areas most vulnerable to driver wear. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTI
5、ON MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any operations, such as reheating or mold
