2、Korea Engineering Standards Page 1 of 7 1 Scope 1.1 Purpose. This standard provides a system for specifying significant properties of seal materials as used in products such as radial lip seal and o-rings. It is based on the principle that for critical parts such as seals, it is desirable to specify
3、 the type of the compound and to base as many properties as possible on measurements made on actual parts (or on sections taken from parts). 1.1 The system comprises tabulations of physical and chemical characteristics of seal materials; each represented by a letter and/or number symbol. By the use
4、of various combinations of these in a line call-out, a wide variety of seal materials may be described and classified. 1 P7 1.1 +95 . ., 8t ( &8x J 866 F$ . 3.2 ,h 8: . ,h8:8t E 172P .(# =)0 5:872P =88 ,l8) 9I%P ,h8: dGl) E4%P$ GM KOREA ENGINEERING STANDARDS EDS-M-7403 Copyright 2011 General Motors
