14、pany All Rights Reserved June 2011 Page 3 of 7 Version : 6 3.2 Test Methods. 3.2.1 Solid Content. 3.2.1.1 Use isopropyl alcohol to clean three aluminum cups used for measuring samples, and dry them. 3.2.1.2 Apply sealant of 3 ) 5 g to the three cups each. 3.2.1.3 Measure the weight of the sample inc

15、luding the cups, rounding off it to two decimal places. 3.2.1.4 Place the sample at 23 E 5 K, 60% RH, and cure it for two weeks. 3.2.1.5 Measure the weight. 3.2.1.6 Calculate the solid content according to EDS-T-7902-20. 3.2.2 Shear Strength. 3.2.2.1 Pretreatment, size and test method for the sample

16、 shall conform to EDS-T-7902-4. 3.2.2.2 Apply adhesive 25 cm 12.7 cm in area, 1 mm in thickness and cure it per clause 3.2.1.4. 3.2.2.3 During the test, tensile speed shall be 50 mm/min. 3.2.3 Tensile Strength / Elongation. 3.2.3.1 Immerse a release paper in water for 10 minutes and wipe the surface

17、. 3.2.3.2 Place the paper on the sheet and apply adhesive, without foaming. 3.2.3.3 Cover it with foil paper, place sheet over it, and use UTM to press it to 3 ) 3.5 mm of thickness. 3.2.3.4 Cure it for a week at 23 E 5 K, 60% of RH, remove the foil paper, and Cure it again for a week. When curing a

18、 big sample, cut it to a proper size. 3.2.3.5 Make the sample into a dumbbell-shaped one per EDS-T-7408-S1. 3.2.3.6 With 50 mm/min of tensile speed, measure tensile strength/elongation. 3.2.4 Heat Resistance. Place the sample in clause 3.2.3 at 175 E for 168 hrs, measure tensile strength and elongat

26、plicable. 5 Rules and Regulations 5.1 Legal Regulations. All materials must satisfy applicable laws, rules, regulations and recommendations valid in the country of usage. 5.2 Language. In the event of conflict between the Korean and English language, the Korean language shall take precedence. 5.3 In

27、spection and Rejection. Samples of components or materials released to a GM material specification shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this material specification and approved by the responsible Engineering department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. A new appr

28、oval must be received for any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location of manufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial release must be completed. It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely ma

29、nner, without solicitation, and to include documentation of all modifications of materials and/or processes and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to commencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. I

30、n individual cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible Engineering department and the supplier. 5.4 Initial Source Approval. No shipments shall be made by any supplier until representative initial production samples have been approved by the appropriate Materials Engineering dep

31、artment(s) as meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.5 Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS). For new product submissions, or when a change in chemical composition of an existing product has occurred, a complete copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet

32、must be submitted in compliance with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) requirements or other country-specific MSDS/SDS requirements. In addition, product MSDS/SDS submissions must be in compliance with specific country General Motors TMC003 Material Saf
