13、 Test Samples and Sample Quantities 3.1 For the performance of steering stop test the complete steering gear ASM with steering pillar ASM and steering wheel is necessary. 3.2 Unless otherwise specified, for initial sample approval and arbitration purposes at least 3 test specimens are to be tested,
14、for routine quality control at least 1 test piece is to be tested. 4 Primary Treatment of Specimens The test is performed at +15 to +35 E without primary treatment of specimens. 5 Testing Device and Auxiliary Means 5.1 Suitable supporting - and inserting devices to set the system steering gear-steer
15、ing pillar-steering wheel as in car. 5.2 Equipment for applying the required force on the track rod.
