It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW15093. 1. PURPOSE This standard aims at evaluating forced opening characteristic
3、s in the door full open state of the vehicle and specifies test methods and test standards for over open of parts for body in white, door in white, door hinge and door check. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to doors for passenger cars and MPV. Particulars not specified here shall follow drawing speci
4、fications. 3. SAMPLE PREPARATION 3.1. In the event of any intentional deviation from the requirements of this standard or engineering change, the supplier shall inform GMDAT of them. 3.2. Samples shall be composed of components and parts meeting material and dimensional requirements in drawings. Fol
5、lowing consultation with the design engineer, however, they may be composed of parts for developmental use. 3.3. Sample shall be the door in white and body in white with door components and parts specified in relevant drawings. 3.4. The body in white shall be equipped with fenders. 3.5. Door check 3
6、.6. Samples shall be coated with primer or to the higher stage. 4. TEST EQUIPMENT 4.1. Portable H.F.T capable of applying load of min. 500N 4.2. Fix the B.I.W (Body In White) with a B.I.W. fixture jig. 5.2. Install the door in white and door check to B.I.W with bolts used in vehicles to fastening tor
8、que specified in drawings. 5.3. With the door full open, install the portable H.F.T to the door latching point in parallel with the door. 5.4. Calibrate the displacement transducer, portable H.F.T and X-Y recorder or PC. 5.5. Install the displacement transducer to the latching point, or loading poin
9、t, to measure forced open displacement of the door. 5.6. Install a jig to the latching point, or loading point. 5.7. Set the 30N loading state as the initial value. 5.8. Apply test load from 100N to 500N stage by stage. For each loading stage, measure elastic + plastic strain (E+P) plastic strain (P) with the displacement transducer. 5.9. Stop test when the sample ruptures. 6. EVALUATION STANDARD Compare the test results with those for other models.
