3、es to examine whether a laminated glass produces any appreciable changes (in color, bubbles and turbidity) after exposed to high humidity in the atmosphere over an extended period of time. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the safety glass (laminated glass with a high molecular film) for the front g
4、lass of automobiles 3. EQUIPMENT Climate chamber : 50relative humidity 4. TEST PIECE (SPECIMENS) Flat laminated glass about 300300mm manufactured by the same method as that for the product, or test pieces of about 300300mm cut from the product shall be subjected to the test. In the latter case, one
5、side of the test pieces shall coincide with part of the upper edge of the product. 5. PROCEDURE 5.1. Turn on the climate chamber 5.2. Maintain the temperature in the chamber at 502 and relative humidity at 954%. 5.3. Set the specimen vertically in the chamber 5.4. Keep the specimen for two week in t
6、he apparatus. 5.5. Take out the specimen and examine visually the change in color, bubbles and turbidity of the specimen. 6. CONDITION OF TEST 6.1. Three specimens shall be tested by the high temperature test, and all the specimens shall satisfy the requirements specified in Table 1. If one or no sp
7、ecimen satisfies the requirements, the results of the test shall be rejected. If two specimens satisfy the requirements, further three specimens shall newly be re-tested. And if all the new specimens satisfy the requirements given in Table 1, the safety glass shall be acceptable. EDS-T-3509HUMIDITY
