3、. PURPOSE This standard aims at specifying the test conditions and test method of the equalizer amplifier for automobiles that are installed to the vehicles manufactured by GMDAT. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the equalizer amplifier for automobiles. 3. TEST SAMPLE AND NO. OF SAMPLES Unless spec
4、ified otherwise, respective 6 DVP and PVP shall be provided for test. 4. TEST CONDITIONS Unless specified otherwise, test shall be conducted in the standard test conditions (+23 5K) specified in KS A006. 5. TEST EQUIPMENT 5.1. Generals Measuring instruments used for test shall basically be calibrate
5、d by the national calibration institute and within the effective calibration period. 5.2. Signal generator A sinuous frequency generator, it shall be capable of generating the frequency in the audible range of 10 Hz to 20 KHz. 5.3. Noise generator A white noise and pink noise generator, it shall be
6、capable of generating the frequency in the audible range of 20 Hz to 20 KHz. 5.4. Thermostatic chamber Capable of maintaining temperature from 60 to +125, it shall have a minimum capacity of 100 liter. It shall also be able to control relative humidity at each temperature to 95% with permissible err
7、or not exceeding +2 per temperature. 5.5. Vibration tester It shall be capable of performing test to KS R 1034 (Automobile Components Vibration test Method). Control device for durability test It shall be capable of automatically supply and cut-off voltage for sample operation, detect defects and record the progress time and number of cycles in durability test. 6. TEST PROCEDURES 6.1. Appearance test 6.1.1. Visual test (1)
9、 Conduct visual inspection. (2) When observed visually, the sample shall show no signs of harmful flaws, cracks, or other defects that may adversely affect the function. 6.1.2. Dimension test Specified samples based on KS B 5203 (Vernier calipers) shall be used. Samples shall meet material requireme
10、nts of the design specifications and dimensional requirements in drawings. 6.2. General performance 6.2.1. Operating voltage To operate at 9V 16V. (Conduct test separately for the accessories power cables and battery power cables.) 6.2.2. Leakage current Unless specified otherwise in drawings, the m
11、easured current shall not exceed 2 v . 6.2.3. Input resistance (1) It is measured according to the circuit in Fig 2. (2)The input resistance of the amplifier shall be 4515%. 6.2.4. Output (1) It is performed based on the rated output in the product spec according to the circuit in Fig 2. (2) Increas
12、e the input voltage (Ue1, 2) until the output reaches the peak. (3) Unless specified otherwise, it is the output with 10% THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). (4) For reference, when the amplifier with maximum output of 25W4Ch is used for the equalizer amplifier, the requirements are as follows: 1) PWR
13、1 : above 4 x 14 W (distortion 10%) 2) PWR 2 : above 4 x 10 W (distortion 7%) 6.2.5. Amplification ratio transmission range and equivalent channel (1) It is measured according to the circuit in Fig 1. (2) Set the input voltage (Ue1, 2) to 0.5V. (3) In the overall transmission range of 25Hz 20,000 Hz
14、, the amplification ratio of all 4 channel shall be 8dB1dB. Distortion (1) It is measured according to the circuit in Fig 1.
15、 (2) Set the input voltage (Ue1, 2) to 0V (short-circuit). (3) In the frequency range of 50Hz 15K Hz, the total distortion shall not exceed 0.1%. 6.2.7. Equivalent cross transmission (1) It is measured according to the circuit in Fig 1. (2) Set the input voltage (Ue1, 2) to 1.0V and (Ue1, 2) to 0.0V
16、 (short-circuit). (3) Equivalent cross transmission between the channels shall be at least 50dB. 6.2.8. Efficiency of volume control (1) Set the input voltage (Ue1, 2) to 1.0V. (2) Measured frequency shall be 100 Hz 5,000 Hz. (3) It shall be possible to create a difference of 50 dB between channels
17、using the volume control. 6.2.9. Maximum noise voltage (1) It is measured according to the circuit in Fig 1. (2) Set the input voltage (Ue1, 2) to 0.0V (short-circuit). (3) The noise voltage at all output terminals shall not exceed 0.5mV and the spectrum of the noise voltage shall appear continuousl
18、y in all components. 6.2.10. Intermediate frequency of the filter (1) It shall be indicated in the drawing or spec of the manufacturer. (2) Intermediate frequency of the filter indicated in the instrument shall have a tolerance of 20%. 6.2.11. Efficiency of frequency control (1) It is performed for
19、all intermediate frequencies with a control. (2) It shall be possible to effect increase or decrease of about 12 dB 2 dB from the intermediate frequency with the control. 6.2.12. Interference between controls (1) It is performed in two adjacent intermediate frequencies. (2) When the controls are pla
20、ced at the last positions in the same direction, the interval between the intermediate frequencies shall not exceed 6dB. Within the intermediate control range of 8dB, the frequency blending interval between two intermediate frequencies shall not exceed 2dB. 6.2.13. Maximum noise voltage (measured ac
21、cording to circuit in Fig 1.) (1) Set the input voltage (Ue1, 2) to 0.0V (short-circuit). (2) When the frequency control is manipulated arbitrarily, the maximum noise voltage shall not exceed 4mV in the entire output range. (3) The spectrum of the noise voltage shall appear continuously in all compo

Temperature operating test (1) Test temperature is based on the point reaching inside the sampl
23、e, which is the same as exposure of the sample to test temperature for min. 1 hour. (2) Apply standard signals to the sample to check whether performance requirements are met. Performance shall not change from standard temperature performance by more than 20%. 1) Test temperature : -202 +702 2) Test
24、 operating voltage : 140.2 V 6.3.2. High temperature high humidity operation test (1) Construct the sample to the design specifications. (2) Under test temperature and humidity, supply power to the sample in the no-load condition (battery and ignition.). (3) After elapse of designated test time, dry
25、 the sample under normal temperature and normal humidity for 2 hours and then apply standard signals to the sample to check whether performance requirements are met. Performance shall not change from standard temperature performance by more than 20%. 1) Test temperature : +453 2) Relative humidity:
26、953 % 3) Test time : 96 hours 4) Test operating voltage : 110.2 V 6.4. Temperature and humidity durability 6.4.1. Supply power to the sample in the no-load condition (battery and ignition). 6.4.2. Expose the sample to +85 in the horizontal condition for 5 minutes. 6.4.3. Expose the sample to -20 for
27、 2 hours with power cut-off. 6.4.4. Immediately expose the sample to test temperature and humidity for 5 minutes with power cut-off. 6.4.5. When power is applied after the sample is dried under normal temperature and normal humidity for 30 minutes, there shall be no heat generation or fire. (1) Test
28、 temperature : +303 (2) Relative humidity: 805 % (3) Test operating voltage : 140.2 V 6.5. Alternating temperature operating life cycle test 6.5.1. This test is conducted to the design specifications. Standard signals are received in the operating condition. 6.5.2. High temperature and low temperatu
29、re are applied alternately. Change temperature in the thermostatic chamber by 10 per minute. 6.5.3. The sample is operated at an alternate cycle of 5 minute ON/ 5 minute OFF. The sample is operated under 4/5 of the rated output for high temperature operation and under 1/2 of the rated output for low temperature operation. 6.5.5. After test, the initial performance
31、requirements shall be met. Unless specified otherwise, performance shall not change from the initial state by more than 20%. 32、 resistance test 6.6.1. This test is conducted on the vibration tester in the vehicle condition. During test, supply power to the sample in the no-load condition (battery and ignition). 6.6.2. Vibrating is applied to vehicle interior parts at 3.2G(rms) according to Table. 1. Fix the sample to the vi
33、brator in the vehicle condition. 6.6.3. Vibrating time is 2 hours. During vibration, there shall occur no performance drop and rattle noise by component separation or noise by resonance. Drop test This test is conducted on a concrete floor. Free-fall an unpacked sample onto the concrete floor f
35、rom a height of 1 m 3 times respectively for each of corner, right/left and front/back sides. There shall be no harmful defects in the appearance and initial performance requirements shall be met. 6.8. Overvoltage/ reversed polarity voltage test 6.8.1. This test is conducted according to ISO 7637 to
36、 check if the sample inside circuit is protected from overvoltage and reversed plarity voltage that may occur at battery discharge. 6.8.2. At test, the sample shall be wired in the vehicle condition. For the system furnished with an inside protection circuit, a fuse (inside protection circuit) shall
37、 be inserted before the sample is operated. 6.8.3. When power to the sample is cut off by the action of the inside protection circuit (fuse), immediately replace the fuse with a new one of the same type. Radiated emission This test is conducted with narrow band emission to EDS-T-5524. The measured value shall not deviate from the specified range. 6.9.2. Conducted tran
40、sient emission This test is conducted to EDS-T-5010. Measurement is made at a point 150mm away from the sample. When 10 output waveforms are measured, the reference value shall not be exceeded. 6.9.3. Bulk Current Injection/ Tem Cell/ Strip-line/ Free Field This test is conducted to EC95-54(ESA) by
41、selecting one of the above 4 items. There shall be no erroneous functions when the applied electric wave is removed (reset). 6.9.4. 42、 Auto & Technology This test is conducted to EDS-T-5514 in Helmholtz coil. Application starts from 60Hz/ 80uT down to 30kHz by decrement of 20dB/octave. There shall be no erroneous functions during the process. 6.9.5. Conducted susceptibility This test is conducted to EDS-T-5010. When ISO 7637 Pulse
43、s #1 to #7 are applied to the unit power according to ISO 7637-1 Class A, the display condition on the monitor is evaluated. 6.9.6. Sinusoidal Burst This test is conducted to EDS-T-5006 in a frequency range of 500 KHz 50MHz. 6.9.7. Electrostatic Discharge This test is conducted to EDS-T-5005 at 4 15
