This standard specifies the method of measurement for chemical compound layer thickness depth of diffused layer and surface hard

5、l in principle be the one cut out from the soft-nitriding product, however, steels of the same grade, which is soft-nitrided under the same condition as that of product may be used as test piece. 3.1.2 For initial sample approval purposes, at least 3 test pieces shall be tested and for routine quali
6、ty control, at least 1 test piece shall be tested. 3.1.3 Preparation Method of Test Piece. 3.1.3.1 Cut the test piece at right angle to the surface.
