The purpose of this standard is to determine the resistance to abrasion of varnishes and other organic coating which have been applied to metallic or rigid non metallic substance. 1.2 Applicability. Abrasion resistance as determined by this standard shall be specified as a me

8、allowed to drop via the guide tube onto the surface of the test piece and subsequently be collected in a suitable vessel. 4.3.4 The collected test sand shall then be returned to the feed funnel, and the progress repeated until the abrasive effect of the test medium has removed as area of approximate
9、ly 35 mm2 of the coating, and the substrate is visible. The total volume of test medium required shall be noted. 5 Data 5.1 Evaluation.
