This standard d

2、escribes material types of mineral/glass fiber reinforced, heatstabilized polyamide 66 (nylon 66) which are used in injected form for molded components.1.2 Symbols. 5、ments of GMW3013, General Requirements forHandling of Technical Terms of Delivery for Plastics.3.1 Requirements on Delivery. Important physical, mechanical and thermal properties that characterize thematerial are summarized in Table 1.The color shall be specified on drawings, in material specificati

6、ons and otherwise.3.2 Requirements on Test Specimens. Unless otherwise specified, injection molding of test specimens shallbe accomplished per ISO 294 with the conditions for injection molding from ISO 1874-2. Test methods andspecimen dimensions are also to be in accordance with ISO 1874-2 with the

7、following additions: use ISO 3167,Type A, thickness 4 mm, for tensile and flexural properties.Test values indicated in Table 1 are based on material with moisture content of 0.2 % maximum (dry asmolded) as tested per ASTM D6869, GMW14335, or ISO 15512, Method A or B. Immediately after molding, asper

8、 ISO 1874-2, specimens shall be sealed in moisture-proof containers and stored at (+22 3) C for24 h minimum. All tests shall be performed on unannealed specimens immediately after their removal from thecontainers in a controlled atmosphere per GMW3221, Code A, unless otherwise specified. In addition

9、, testsspecified at temperatures below or above (+22 3) C shall be conducted at the specified temperature usingspecimens conditioned at the specified temperature for 4 h minimum.The values specified in Table 1 shall be met by test specimens in natural, black or in a “standard” sampledcolor if natura

Parts of this material type shall have a water content, when tested perGMW14335, at delivery of at leastx 1.5 % by mass for material types reinforced up to 20 % by massx 1.0% by mass for material types reinforced over 20 % by massDeviations from t

12、his shall be specifically indicated on the part drawings.3.4 Chemical Requirements. All parts manufactured from molding compounds shall be resistant to the mediathey contact, such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, fuels, lubricants, oils, greases and alcohols, at theirplaces of use.3.5 Compoun

13、d Properties (Natural and Black). See Table 1. The following are also required for full standardapproval. The minimum number of lots per test required is one in natural: Poissons Ratio, Stress Strain Curveat multiple temperatures (for example -30 C, +23 C, +85 C), Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expan

14、sion(CLTE), Mold Shrinkage and Fogging. See GMW3013 for all test procedures and parameters.3.6 Performance Requirements. 20、nd Regulations5.1 Legal Regulations. All materials must satisfy applicable laws, rules, regulations and recommendationsvalid in the country of usage.5.2 Language. In the event of conflict between the English and domestic language, the English language shalltake precedence.5.3 Inspection and Rejectio

21、n. Samples of components or materials released to a GM material specificationshall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this material specification and approved by theresponsible Engineering department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies.A new approval must be received fo

22、r any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location ofmanufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial releasemust be completed.It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely manner, without solicitation,

23、 and toinclude documentation of all modifications of materials and/or processes and to apply for a new release.If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior tocommencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. In individual cases, a shorter

24、test can be agreedto between the responsible Engineering department and the supplier.5.4 Initial Source Approval. No shipments shall be made by any supplier until representative initial productionsamples have been approved by the appropriate Materials Engineering department(s) as meeting therequirem

25、ents of this specification.5.5 Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS). For new product submissions, or when achange in chemical composition of an existing product has occurred, a complete copy of the Material SafetyData Sheet/Safety Data Sheet must be submitted in compliance with

26、the Globally Harmonized System ofClassification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) requirements or other country-specific MSDS/SDSrequirements.
