SCOPE The material described in this specification is a tape designed to reduce noises created by adjacent parts rubbing against each other. The tape consi
3、sts of fibres, usually nylon or polyester, bound together to form a pad which is adhered to the part by a pressure sensitive adhesive. Type 1 has an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive suitable for forming strong bonds to painted metal surfaces and most plastic materials except polyethylene and poly
4、propylene. Type 2 has a pressure sensitive adhesive suitable for bonding to polyethylene and polypropylene. 2. REQUIREMENTS 2.1 Shelf Life The material shall be satisfactory for use after ageing in the original container for 90 days at 35 C. 2.2 Thickness Material Thickness Fabric 0.4 - 0.8 mm Adhes
5、ive 0.07- 0.15 mm 2.3 Packaging Tape to be furnished in evenly and uniformly wound rolls on suitable cores with silicone treated paper on polyethylene release liner (if applicable), easily removable with no separation of the material.
