5、is specification covers a power steering fluid used in service systems (Fleetrite P/N XX990625, where XX is a 2 place alpha prefix identifying the current supplier). 2.0 SCOPE This specification covers the physical and chemical properties for a power steering fluid originally developed to meet Sagin

6、aw power steering specification requirements. It is suitable for use in other power steering systems, such as Ross and Sheppard. 2.1 Restricted Chemical Substances Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS

7、B-50 specification. 3.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS Unless otherwise specified the latest issue of all referenced standards shall apply. 13、Sediments (ASTM D 96, Method A, without demulsifier or water) Shall be 0.05% maximum. 4.1.8 Zinc Content (ASTM D 4951) Shall be 40-60 ppm. 4.1.9 Phosphorus Content (ASTM D 4951) Shall be 200 ppm, minimum 4.1.10 Aniline Point (ASTM D 611) Shall be 90 - 102 C (200 - 216 F) 4.1.11 Ash (ASTM D 482, Proc

14、edure A) Shall be 0.02% maximum. 4.1.12 Oxidation Stability (ASTM D 2272) Shall be 200 minutes, minimum. 4.2 Corrosion Test (ASTM D 665, Procedures A and B, 24 hours) Must pass both procedures A and B. 4.3 Copper Strip Corrosion (ASTM D 130, 1 hour, 150 C (302 F) Shall be 3A rating, maximum. 4.4 Ste

Sheppard Company, Bosch Braking Systems, and LUK Automotive Hydraulics. 5.0 QUALIFICATION Material submitted for qualification shall be accompanied by detailed test reports and certification that m

AUGUST 2009 Page 3 of 3 6.0 SOURCE APPROVAL AND QUALITY CONTROL 6.1 Supplier Requirements All suppliers to N

18、avistar are required to be registered to ISO 9001 Quality System Requirements. Navistar will also accept TS-16949 registration as long as the supplier can also fulfill all AIAG PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and approval requirements. Suppliers must maintain their certificatio

19、n with an accredited registrar and must furnish copies of registration certificates to their Navistar Corporate Buyer upon request. 6.2 Approval Parts supplied against contracts or purchase orders citing this specification shall be equivalent in all respects to those samples, which were approved by

20、the purchaser. No changes in formulation or processing practices are permitted without approval. In the event that changes occur in material properties, processing practices, or labeling, the supplier shall notify Materials Engineering at TDTC and Navistar Purchasing and Supplier Development of the

21、proposed change(s). Test data indicating conformance to all requirements of this specification, test samples, and new/amended/updated Material Safety Data Sheet(s) (MSDS), in accordance with CFR Title 29, Section 1910, shall be submitted with the request for change. 6.3 Process Control The supplier

22、shall either perform and report results of tests on specific lots of parts produced using ISO 9001 or TS-16949 guidelines, or provide statistical evidence of the lot having been produced in a state of statistical control and with a process capable of providing all required properties. The part suppl

23、ier and the plant metallurgist and/or the quality control manager of the using NAVISTAR plant may determine testing and reporting requirements on specific products. 7.0 SHIPPING AND IDENTIFICATION Shipping and identification shall be in accordance with Navistar Manufacturing Standard MS-D-13. When p
