ITU-T G.763 (1998)/Cor.1 (03/2009) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) i
11、s a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years,
12、 establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessa

NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However,
14、the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure e.g. interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equiva

The bit rate of
20、individual bearer channels provided for speech is instantaneously either 32, 24, or 16 kbit/s, depending on traffic loading. If the 16 kbit/s overload feature is activated, the bit rate of the bearer channels provided for speech is 24 kbit/s or 16 kbit/s, depending on traffic loading.“ with: “Speech

The bit rate of individual bearer channels provided for speech is instantaneously either 32, 24, or 16 kbit/s, depending on traffic loading (see also clauses 5.9.4, 5.9.5 and 5.9.6).“ 2) Clause 3.2, Table 1 Replace the Speech entry: “32 kbit/s ADPCM with
