6、series of Recommendations provide a multi-technology network management interface. Within this series, Recommendation ITU-T M.3170.4 specifies the conformance testing specifications associated with it, and provides the principles and testing methodology that will be used for the conformance testing

7、of the MTNM interface, the scope and contents that will be tested for the ITU-T M.3170.x series of Recommendations, and the implementation conformance statement (ICS) proforma definitions for the MTNM IDL interface. 9、 ITU-T M.3170.4 (04/2015) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU

10、-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for stu

11、dy by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a

12、collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may contain

13、certain mandatory provisions (to ensure, e.g., interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to express req

14、uirements. The use of such words does not suggest that compliance with the Recommendation is required of any party. 39、lti-technology network management Conformance testing specification 1 Scope The purpose of this Recommendation is to provide the conformance testing specification for the MTNM interface specified in the ITU-T M.3170 series of Recommendations. It is within the scope of this Recommendation to specify:

40、 the principles for the conformance testing of MTNM interface; the testing methodology that will be used for the conformance testing of the MTNM interface; the scope and the contents that will be tested for the conformance of ITU-T M.3170 series of Recommendations; the ICS proforma definitions for t
