3、G SCHEME FOR FACSIMILE AMENDMENT 1 Accommodation of new and future resolutions Summary In April 1999, ITU-T adopted new higher resolutions of 300 x 600, 400 x 800, 600 x 600, 600 x 1200 and 1200 x 1200 peld25.4 mm while 100 x 100 peld25.4 mm was introduced a year earlier. This amendment assists the
4、comprehension of the appropriate square resolution subset of these new resolutions: it is also written in a manner that accommodates future T.30 resolution enhancements without requiring corresponding amendments. Source Amendment 1 to ITU-T Recommendation T.43 was prepared by ITU-T Study Group 8 (19

The ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), whi

The approval of Recommendations by the Members of the ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1. In some areas of informatio

NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. I
