9、lapsup.Theplainailerons,flapsdown,haveaboutthe samevaluefortherateof changeof hinge+ucmentcoefficientwithailerondeflectionastheaileronswithflapsretracted.Plainaileronsalsohavean upfloatingtendencyat aileronneutral,flapsdeflected.Thisupfloatingtendency,coupledtiththedifferentialrequiredforgoodcontrol
