22、body. Connections which rely on secondary operations such as ultrasonic welding and/or secondary compression rings are expressly prohibited. 32、or Stem Pressure Transducers, Stem Brake Switches, and Plugs 8.0 QUALIFICATION Material and processes submitted for approval to this specification shall include the following: 8.1 Report: A detailed and signed test report documenting testing to this specification prepared as per TMS-9543. The report
33、 will include actual test data not merely test summaries. 8.2 Failure Modes: Test samples or photographs showing failure modes for each destructive test as necessary to fully describe those failure modes. Descriptions are adequate if the mode is easily understandable (no trade names or internal name
34、s to be used) and not unexpected. Unexpected failure modes shall be described or pictured as completely as possible. 8.3 Test Procedure: The procedure used for preparing, curing and assembling materials for test. Include any chemicals or assembly aids and how they were used. 8.4 Analysis: A detailed

36、LITY CONTROL 9.1 Supplier Requirements All suppliers to NAVISTAR are subject to the requirements defined in ISQ-001-QM- NAVISTAR Integrated Supplier Quality Requirements. Suppliers must be compliant with ISO 9001 or TS 16949 and fulfill all AIAG PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation
37、and all approval requirements as indicated in NAVISTAR ISQ-001-QM. 9.2 Approval Parts supplied against contracts or purchase orders citing this specification shall be equivalent in all respects to those samples which were approved by the purchaser. No changes in formulation or processing practices a
38、re permitted without approval. In the event that changes in material, properties, processing practices, construction, color, or labeling of the product are required, the supplier shall notify NAVISTAR Integrated Supplier Quality (ISQ) of the proposed change(s) by contacting their Navistar Supplier Q
39、uality representative or sending an email to ISQ. 41、shall be submitted with the request for change. 9.3 Process Control The supplier shall either perform and report results of tests on specific lots of parts produced using ISO 9001 or TS-16949 guidelines. Production shall be carried out under controlled conditions. Controlled conditions shall include
42、, as applicable, a) the availability of information that describes the characteristics of the product, b) the availability of work instructions, as necessary, c) the use of suitable equipment, d) the availability and use of monitoring and measuring equipment, e) the implementation of monitoring and
43、measurement, and f) the implementation of product release, delivery and post-delivery activities. Characteristics shall be measured and monitored to verify that product requirements have been met. This shall be carried out at appropriate stages of the product realization process in accordance with p
44、lanned arrangements. Evidence of conformity with the acceptance criteria shall be maintained. The release of product and delivery of service to the customer shall not proceed until the planned arrangements have been satisfactorily completed, unless otherwise approved by a relevant authority and, whe
45、re applicable, by Navistar. The part supplier and the quality control manager of the using NAVISTAR plant may determine testing and reporting requirements on specific products. 9.4 Cleanliness Parts shall meet MPAPS F-2 Level III for cleanliness. 10.0 DESIGNATION ON DRAWINGS AND PURCHASE ORDERS Desi
