Unless otherwise specified, as soon as practicable after the award of the contractor order, the first tm boxes manufactured by the mthods and eguiPment proposed for the production of the boxes shall be submitted for first article tests to determine can- pliance with the require

13、mentc of the contract, specifications and drawings. Mer production of the boxes by the supplier propr to approval by the procuring activity or the coqletion of the tests on the first article samples shall be at the suppliers risk. First article sample-s accepted will be applied as part of the quanti

14、ty specified by the cofitxact or order, but shall not be used on any equipment mufactwed for the Gcrven-iment. The first article samples shall be forwarded to the COnaMnding Officer, US Naval Weapns Station, Earle, Colts Neck, NJ 07722, Attention: Director, Naval Weapns Handling Laboratory. The firs

15、t article sanp?k shall be plainly identified by securely attached tags marke with the following infomiation: Samples sulrnitted by (name) (date) for first article inspection in accordance with the requirements of MIGB-18876 (Oc). 4.3.2 Vpon completion of the first article inspection, all the applica

16、ble inspection reports and, when applicable, recoai.wiendations and ccamients pertinent for use in monitoring production will be forwarded to the Government quality control representative. 4.4 Quality conformance inspec tion. The quality aonfomce inspection shall consist of the following: a. Qualifi

17、cation of weld process or machine (4.4. i) b. Production control tests (4.,4.3) c. Visual and dimnsional examination (4.4.4, 4.4.4.1) d. Ekamination for preparation for delivery (4.4.4, 4.4.4.2) 4.4.1 Qualification of weld process or machine. machine shall be qualified as outlined in 3.6. The weld p
