5、3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Laboratory report approval. Unless otherwise specified (see 6.2) at the time of submission of a bid, the bidder shall submit to the contrac- ting officer, a certified copy of a recent laboratory report covering the coated cloth which he proposes to deliver. Unless otherwise speci
6、fied (see 6.21, the bidder shall certify that the coated cloth was manufactured in a plant where the coating will be performed if the contractor is awarded. The laboratory report shall contain test data which demonstrates that the coated cloth which the supplier proposes to deliver has been tested a
7、nd found to comply with all requirements of this specification. Any of the following types of reports will be satisfactory from the stand- point of this requirement: (a) An independent or commercial laboratory report. (b) The prospective bidders own laboratory report. (c) A Governmental laboratory r
8、eport from a contract within 6 months of the date of submission of bid. The purpose of the above requirement is to assist the Government in determining the capability of bidders to manufacture a coated cloth meeting all the requirements of the specification. The submission of an acceptable report un

13、 (uncoated) shall be woven taffeta manufactured from bright high tenacity filament nylon conforming to the requirements specified in Table I, and shall be tested as specified (see Section 4, Table IV, for required tests). The maximum number of pieces per roll shall be three

25、ed the specified acceptable quality levels. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specifi
26、ed in the contract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection require- ments specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Govern- ment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification
27、 where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements, submitted,the Government reserves the right to check test such items to determine the validity of the certification. 4.1.1 Certificate of compliance. Where certificates of compliance are

The sample unit for this examination shall be one roll. The sample size (number of rolls selected as sample) and the maximum acceptable number

The rolls examined shall be those selected for examination of individual ro
46、lls as specified in 4.3.2.2.1. The lot shall be unacceptable if the total of the actual gross lengths of rolls in the sample is less than the total of the gross lengths marked on the roll tickets. 4.3.3 Examination of preparation for delivery. Examination shall be made in accordance with the provisi
47、ons of PPP-P-1136 to determine com- pliance with the packaging, packing and marking requirements of Section 5. 4.3.4 Testing of the end item. The methods of testing specified in CCC-T-191, whenever applicable, and as listed in Table IV, shall be followed. The requirements for all tests are reference

Except for color- fastness, blocking and the visual aspects of resistance to accelerated weathering and high humidity, the physical values specified apply to the average of the determinations made on a sample unit for test purposes as specified in the applicable test methods. blocking and
