Meters mounted by the front surface of the mounting flange shall have mounting flanges tin-plated on the front surface in accordance with ASTM-B545 to provide an electrical ground for the case.
4、The rear surface of the mounting flange shall be tin-plated for meters designed to be mounted by the rear surface of the mounting flange. 2. The alternate configuration Figure 2 unit is permitted to use a copper nickel material for the flange in accordance with MIL-C-15726 material alloys C70600 or
5、C71500. Either alloy is allowed provided that the part meets the requirements of this specification sheet. The applicable flange conductive surface specified in Table I shall be unpainted to provide an electrical ground for the case; or use the method of requirement 1. 3. Meter faces shall designate
6、 with proper marking HOURS or HOURS AND TENTHS (see Table I and Note 3). 4. To accommodate meters with round or rectangular castings, the mounting hole shall be not less than 1.657 inches in diameter (see Note 1). 5. Meters shall meet the performance requirements in Table I. 6. Meters in accordance
7、with Figure 2 shall have a mounting kit of four Phillips head (#4-40) screws, washers, and hex nuts supplied with each unit. 7.
