The requirement for technical manuals shouldbe considered when this

The

20、air filter consists of a filtering mediaenclosed in a frame or binding channel, media retaining guards, and handles.6.7.2 Face area. The face area of a filter is the area, in squarefeet, obtained by multiplying the inside dimensions of the face of the filterframe or binding channel.6.7.3 Face veloci

21、ty. The face velocity of a stream of air passingthrough a filter, expressed in feet per minute, is the rate of flow of airmeasured in cubic feet per minute divided by the face area of the filter.6.7.4 Dust load. Dust holding capacity is the amount of synthetic dustfed to the test filter times its av

22、erage arrestance when the test filterreaches the rated final resistance.6.7.5 Arrestance. Arrestance is an efficiency value. A standardizeddust consisting of various particle sizes is fed into an air cleaner and theweight fraction of dust removed is determined. Under ASHRAE 52.1-1992, thistype of ef

23、ficiency measurement is named synthetic dust weight arrestance todistinguish it from other efficiency values.6.7.6 Resistance (to air flow). Resistance is the static pressure dropacross the filter at a given air flow rate. The term “pressure drop” is usedinterchangeably with resistance.6.8 Recommend

24、ed practices.
