Each regulator assembly shall be furnished with c9 ground rod conforming to W-R-550, type III, class B, 5/8-inch in diCuneter except that three 2-foot plus or minus 1/16-inch-long sections, three couplings, and one driving stud shall be furnished in lieu of the specified 3-
18、foot sections, clamps, ground cable, and ground terminal. 3.3.2 Ground wire assembly. Each regulator assembly shall be pro- vided with a ground wire assembly conforming to Figure l. 3.3.3 Frame. The frame shall be constructed of aluminum and shall incorporate the following design requirements: a. b.

The regulator assembly sh
30、all be cleaned and dried of all cutting oil, grease, residue from tests, dirt, metal chips, and other extraneous material in accordance with MIL-P-116. 3.4 Maintainability. Each component of the regulator assembly shall be accessible for adjustment, maintenance, repair, and replacement without remov
31、al of other major components, or the use of special tools. 3.5 Performance characteristics. 3.5.1 Hydrostatic pressure. The regulator assembly shall be capable of withstanding a hydrostatic pressure of not less than 225 pounds-force per square inch (lbf/in2) without evidence of leaks, damaged or bro
32、ken components, and permanent deformation (see 4.6.2.2). 3.5.2 Pressure reducing capability. The regulator assembly shall be capable of reducing the outlet pressure of the fluid to any value from 30 lbf/in2 up to and including 100 lbf/in2 at any inlet pressure from 30 lbf/in2 to 150 lbf/in2 and a fl
33、ow of 600 gallons per minute (gpm) with- out leaks or malfunction of any component (see 4.6.2.3). 3.5.3 Lifting.
