REQUIREMENTS 3.1 General Requirements: The servo motors shall be in accordance with the requirements of this specification and with the drawings and specifications listed in paragraph 2. 3.2 Process

9、 Requirements: The -manufacturing processes and techniques for the construction of servo motors that are covered by this specification are to be selected by the manufacturer to meet the performance requirements of this specification. 3.3 Ambient Conditions: After exposure to the following ambient co

10、nditions, it shall be demonstrated by tests that the performance of servo motors manufactured under this specification meet the inspection requirements. 3.3.1 Endurance: Prolonged operation at maximum power under rated voltage conditions in ambient temperatures between -6joF and +212OF when tested i

Motor at Rest - The- total

15、voltage output shall not .exceed .O13 volt HNS -) for any position of rotor. The funda- mental component Af the voltage shall not exceed .O08 volt (MS) 3.4.2.2 Motor Running - (in accordance with Figure 2) - Ratio of resistance X to resistance X+R, when X+R equals 10,000 ohms shall be .O485 + - .O01

17、s that have the same mark and mod designation shall be mechanically and electrically interchangeabl6. 3.6 Identification - Servo motors shall be identified by nameplate in accordance with applicable drawings of paragraph fi- A.L. 4. SAMPLING, INSPECTION, AND TEST PROCEDURES 4.1 Sampling: 4.1.1 Lot -

The number of units of product in inspection lots shall be determined by the Government Inspector and may differ froin the quantity designated in the contract or order as a lot for production,

19、shipment, or other purpose, determination of acceptability of lots procured by the govern- ment unless otherwise specified, shall conform to the provisions . 4.1.2 A sampling plan and procedure applicable to the Of MIL-STD-105 4.2 Government Inspection - The Government Inspector may, . during the pr

20、ocess of manufacture and assembly, perforin and witness or participate in such inspections and tests as he deems necessary to assure that the component parcs, subassemblies, and assemblies conform with the requirements of applicable contracts, orders, requisitions, drawings, and specifications. 22、l. 4.3 by whatever means or methods are desired and to the extent that is necessary, that components, subassemblies, and complete assemblies offered for Government acceptance or delivery do con- form with the requirements of all applicable .drawings, specifications, requisitions, contracts, and orde

23、rs. Contractorts Inspection - The contractor shall determine, 4.4. Classification of Tests - Tests to determine .whether servo motors have been manufactured in accordance with the . drawings of paragraph 2.1 and .this specification are divided into the tvm following categories: (a) Pre-production Te

24、sts (b) Inspection Tests 4.5 Conditions for Tests - Unless otherwise specified, the tests shall b e conducted at room temperature of approximately .2r0 Centigrade and at an atmospheric pressure of approximately 30 inches of mercury. The power to be used in the tests shall have a frequency of 4.00 +

25、5 cycles. The waveform shall be essentially sinusoidal and shall have a crest factor of 1.41 .+ - 10 percent and a form factor of 1.11 +, 5 percent. on six (6) units selected by the Government from among the first units to be manufactured and shall be performed at the Governmentts expense at a time

26、and place to be designated by the Government. The contractor shall, if requested by the Government, provide a representative at his own expense for Cechnical advice and assistance. The Government reserves the right to erform tests on any or all equipments (prototype and production P at its own expen

27、se, if such tests are needed to insure conformance with requirements of this specification or other applicable specifications. 4.6 Time and Place - Pre-production tests shall be performed 4.7 Pre-production Tests - .Sampling and acceptance criteria shall be in accordance with Yaragraph 4.60 4.7.1 Te

28、mperature Rise - With the motor mounted on a 6 x 6 .x 1/4 inch aluminum plate, having a base of heat insulation material to isolate motor and plate from container, placed in a container the volume of which is 2 to 5 cubic feet, the winding resistance of the reference phase of the generator shall be

Centigrade (-65O Fahrenheit). After one hour in this atmosphere, rated voltage shall be applied to Phase 1 for 2 minutes. T

32、hen, with rated voltage on both phases, the motor shall attain tuithin30 seconds a no-load speed of 85 percent of the minimum value specified in Table I. 6 x 6 x l/l+ inch aluminum plate shall first pass the minimum no-load speed test and then be placed in a test chamber that has an atmospheric temp

33、erature of looo Centigrade (212O Fahrenheit) for one hour without excitation. These motors shall then be capable of passing inspection tests. 4.7.5 Vibration and Shock 4.7.5.1 Vibration - While mounted on a vibration table, the motors. shall operate satisTactorily duririg and after vibration. 38、 the major horizontal axis, for a period of 90 minutes. 4.7.5.1.3 Vertically, for a period of 90 minutes. 4.7.5.2 Shock - The mtor shall not suffer damage or subsequently =to provide the performance specified in the specification for individual equipment when it is subjected to 30 impact shocks of 3

39、0 Gfs, each shock impulse having a time duration of 11 + 1 milliseconds. The shock shall be applied with any individual shock isolator or shock insulating mounting assembly removed. The shock shall be applied in the following directions: Horizontally, parallel to the major horizontal axis; five shoc

40、ks in each direction. 4.7.5.2.1 4.7.5.2.2 horizontal axis; five shocks in each direction. Horizontally, at right angles ta the major 4.7.5.2.3 Vertically, five shocks in each direction. 4.7.6 HiRh Humidity - High humidity tests shall be per- formed on two motors: 4.7.6.1 inspection tests listed unde

41、r paragraph 4.8. 4.7.6.2 The units shall be laced in a test chamber having a temperature of 20“ to 31“ Centigrade (68O to 10004“ Fahrenheit) and set up to simulate installed condition. Then during a period of two hours, the temperature in the chamber shall be raised gradually to 71“ Centigrade (160“

42、 Fahrenheit) and maintained for the following six hours. period, the relative humidity in the chamber shall be main- tained at 95 percent. Immediately after the 6 hour period has elapsed, the temperature is to be lowered at a uniform rate over a period of sixteen hours until 20 to 38O Centi- grade (

43、68“ to 1o0.4 Fahrenheit) is reached. The preceding precedure is considered one cycle and a total number of cycles sufficient to extend the elapsed time to 360 hours shall be performed. At the conclusion of the 360 hour procedure, the equipment shall be operated and the data compared to that obtained

45、.pH value of between 6.5 and 7.5. at 25O Centigrade (77“ Fahren- heit) shall be used to obtai-n the desired- humidity. After completion of test the rotors,. stat,ors, and drag cup shall be examined for evidence of rust or corrosion. The following shall be considered as cause for re j.ection: externa

46、l surfaces of bearing races. . 4.7.6.4 4.7.6.4.1 Any visible .,rust on ferrous parts except the 4.7.6.4.2 Any corrosion which vrould result in a failure - of the servo motor. . 4.7.6.4.3 Any varnish orJresinous condensates on the bearings. The bearing shields shall be removed for this examination. R
