16、Supplemental requirements. In the event that the contractor proposes to alter the equipment delineated by this specification and applicable drawings, the following supplemental requirements for the selection of parts and materials shall be applicable. 3.2.3.1 Basic conformance. Materials selected fo
17、r use in the equipment shall be as specified in MIL-T-28800. Parts shall be selected from those conforming to MIL-E-5400, unless the parts listed therein will not perform adequately in the intended applications and environments specified herein in which case 3.2.2 applies. Interchangeability. All pa
18、rts and materials shall meet the lity requirements as specified in MIL-T-28800. DL 1008AS100 shall be the standard for measuring interchange- gn and construction. The Test Set shall be manufactured in h the drawings and subsidiary specifications conforming to DL The drawings applicable units, assemb

Proposed changes, either to correct drawing discrepancies or to effect improvements, shall be specifically approved by the procuring acti- vity prior to being incorporated. (see 6.
21、2) 3.3.1 Reliability. 3.3.1.1 Operational stability. The Test Set shall operate satisfac- torily, continuously or intermittently, for a period of at least 300 hours. During this time, it shall not be necessary to readjust any controls that are inaccessible to the operator during normal use. operatin

The test set shall operate satisfactorily under the following environmental service conditions. 3.3.2.1.1 Temperature-altitude. The test set shall meet the operating requirements of this specification at temperatures between t88“C
27、 and -62C at altitudes between ambient and 50,000 feet (16,000 meters). 3.3.2.1.2 Drip-proof. The test set shall meet the test requirements of MTL-STD-108 for drip proof test except the equipment shall be inclined only 15 degrees. The equipment shall operate during and after exposure. The test set shall meet all applicable input power requirements as specified in MIL-STD-704 for class 2 equipment. The power required shall be of the following type and shall not exceed t

The Test Set shall be capable of withstanding inpiit power variations imposed by abnormal electric system operations as specified in MIL-STD-704. 3.3.5 Electro
34、magnetic interference suppression. The generation of radio interference by the Test Set and the vulnerability of the equipment to radio interference shall be asspecified in NIL-STD-461 for class ID equipment except that the limits for conducting electromagnetic emissions (switching transients) are i

The power ON/OFF switch shall permit the vidicon gyro to attain rated speed, and the vidicon filaments to warm up prior to uncaging the gyro and totally energizing the WALLEYE weapon. incorp
