The TIA was processed by the Technical Committee on Fire Department Apparatus, and was issued by the Standards Council on August 4, 2016, with an effective date of August 24, 2016. A Tentative In
3、terim Amendment is tentative because it has not been processed through the entire standards-making procedures. It is interim because it is effective only between editions of the standard. A TIA automatically becomes a public input of the proponent for the next edition of the standard; as such, it th
4、en is subject to all of the procedures of the standards-making process. 1. Revise paragraph 28.12.13.4.1 to read as follows: 28.12.13.4.1 The pump shall be started and brought up to a flow rate of between 25 percent and 35 percent of the pumps rated flow by partly opening a discharge valve or by reducing the speed of the pump.
