42、ipment used, acceptable to the appointed inspectorate authority 3.2 bus motor vehicle designed or adapted for the conveyance of more than 16 persons, including the driver 3.3 bus-train bus that a) consists of two sections connected to form a unit, b) can swivel in a horizontal plane at the connectio

43、n between such sections, c) is designed or adapted solely or principally for the conveyance of the driver and at least 100 other persons, and d) has a continuous passageway over its length 3.4 examiner examiner of vehicles, registered and appointed in terms of the relevant national legislation (see

44、foreword) 3.5 excessive excessive in the opinion of the examiner, taking due cognizance of the manufacturers specifications, where available, and also of the specifications contained in the national road traffic regulations 3.6 heavy vehicle goods vehicle or a bus of gross vehicle mass exceeding 3 5
