PROJECT SPECIFICATION CLAUSES 1.1 Set out suitable clauses in Portion 2 of the project specification to provide essential information as follows: a) (Subclause 5.3) State whether all sharp metal edges are to be gr
7、ound to a smooth radius of at least I mm . b) (Subclause 5.4.3.1) Specify, in accordance with Swedish Standard SIS 05 59 00l), the standard of blast cleaning required. c) (Subclause 5.4.3.1) Specify the blast profile if the provisions of SABS 064) are considered to be ina- dequate. d) Subclause 5.4.
8、3.1) State whether recycling ot blast-cleaning medium is permitted or whether a specific blast medium is to be used. e) (Subclause 5.4.3.1) Where required, specify that samples of eacb standard of blast cleaning specified for the contract be produced by the contractor, for the engineer to keep as st
9、andards by which to judge subsequent work. f) (Subclause 5.4.3.1) State whether wet abrasive blast cleaning is to be used and, if so, specify how this is to be carried out. g) (Subclause 5.4.3.2) Specify, in accordance with SIS 05 59 Ool), the standard of hand cleaning or power- tool cleaning requir

Except where such data have been given in the schedule or in the tender drawings, set out suitable clauses covering items such as the following in Portion 2 of the project specifica
15、tion: a) (Subclause 5.4.1) Specify the appropriate method of cleaning and preparing the substrate and specify where this work is to be carried out. b) (Subclause 5.7) Specify the coating system(s) to be used and whether a post-blast primer is to be used. (See also Clause 5 of Part 3 of the code.) Sp
16、ecify the colours of the finish coat with reference to SABS 109143 and SABS 0140): Parts 11 and 111. Specify whether this work is to be carried out in the shop or on site. 20、on of structural steelwork 3.2 PROJECT CLASSIFICATION NOTE: To meet requirements imposed by various norms of economic development, projects are ciassified as normal, prestige, subeconomic and labour-based projects (see CLause 4 of the Introduction to Part 3 of the code). 3.2.1 Normal Projects. SABS
